Our World

4 Hearts is all about love–the love of luxury, the love of beauty, the love of tradition. 4 Hearts takes us back to a simpler time, when artisans were devoted to their work and pieces were made as much for the love of the craft as for practicality. Our fabrics are woven and dyed by hand using centuries-old traditional methods, while our precious jewelry is crafted by skilled artisans in our Phnom Penh studio.

4 Hearts is also about the love of our fellow human beings. We collaborate with School2School and World Assistance for Cambodia, two non-profit organizations dedicated to educating children and creating opportunities for young people and poor students in rural areas. Every time you purchase a 4 Hearts Charm Bracelet we make a donation to these two worthy organizations.

The Scarves

No two silk scarves in the 4 Hearts collection are the same. Cambodian artisans use a centuries-old technique known as Shibouri to dye the silk for our scarves. We also have a range of plain-colored silk scarves, dyed by hand, with love. At 4 Hearts, we work hand in hand with traditional artisans who use only sustainable, environmentally friendly techniques. Our dyes are azo-free and we do not use electric looms–it’s all done by hand.

Made from 100 per cent high-quality Cambodian silk, 4 Hearts silk scarves come in generous sizes, with some styles being double-layered, giving them enough weight to wrap effortlessly and fall with style–perfect for mild days and cool evenings.

The Jewelry

The 4 Hearts jewelry collection is pure luxury. Our delicate earrings and bracelets combine top-quality gold and silver with Cambodian gems and semi-precious stones, as well as rubies, sapphires, emeralds, blue chalcedony, rose quartz and prehnite from around the region. We choose each stone for its quality and color, and design pieces that will be handed down from generation to generation. Artisans in Phnom Penh lovingly craft our earrings and bracelets by hand.

Giving Back

Sigrid Horn af Åminne has designed the ‘4 Hearts Charm Bracelet’ to benefit School2School and World Assistance for Cambodia, two non-profit organizations. When you buy the handmade ‘4 Hearts Charm Bracelet’ you are supporting the School2School organization and its work educating Cambodian children in rural provinces. In January 2016, as part of our Sweden-Cambodia connection, 4 Hearts donated 20 ‘Pippi Longstocking’ books to ‘Vasa School’ in Takeo province. Read about the project at School2School.
